Formerly a Georgia Dower House of the Northerwood Estate, Forest Lodge Hotel blends historical charm and contemporary style with warm hospitality. Located just minutes from the capital of the New Forest, there’s plenty of walks from the door and an array of boutique shops just a short stroll away.

Stylishly decorated with a warm and cosy colour palette, rooms feature a flat-screen TV, complimentary toiletries, bottled water and tea and coffee making facilities.

Offering a casual bistro style dining menu for lunch and dinner with items such as salads, pizzas and weekend specials. Breakfast includes a continental buffet selection or cooked-to-order breakfasts at an additional charge. Should you wish to opt for something else the village of Lyndhurst is only a 10 minute stroll away which offers a diverse choice of bar, cafes and restaurants.

The large indoor, heated swimming pool is also a big attraction and is exclusively for hotel guests.

Family friendly, dogs are also welcome at Forest Lodge Hotel.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.

Please note that the hotel hosts weddings and private functions with music throughout the year. Disruption is kept to a minimum.

Four Poster or Family Room. Featuring a four-poster double bed and either a sofa bed or a fold-away bunk beds for children, these spacious rooms at around 22 m² come with bathrobes, luxe toiletries, Bluetooth speaker with USB input, pod coffee machine, local teas and filtered water. ;
Standard Family Room. Designed to offer sufficient space when travelling with children, these rooms feature a super-king bed, Temple Spa toiletries, and bottled still and sparkling water. For the children there’s bunk beds, with space to accommodate a Z-bed or cot if needed. Rooms measure at around 25 squared metres. ;
Four Poster Room. Our Snug rooms have delightful décor, en-suite bath and shower, your own dressing table and a double bed. These rooms includeof the essentials including luxe toiletries, filtered water and branded tea selection. ;
Standard Double Room. Light and contemporary, these rooms measure at around 19 squared metres and are stylishly decorated with a warm and cosy colour palette. Most feature a king-size bed, luxe toiletries and filtered water. The en-suite bathroom will include either a shower or bath.
