The Windsor Trooper - Windsor

The Windsor Trooper is an 18th century public house and inn, with 9 cosy rooms to welcome you.

Just a short walk from the town centre as well as the castle it is the perfect location to stay whether you’re sightseeing, having a mini break or here for business, being in the heart of the residential part of town, The Windsor Trooper provides the best of everything Windsor has to offer.

The Windsor Trooper is one of the most popular pubs in town, you’ll be presented with a warm welcome before sitting down to have a drink in the pub or wonderful sun trap garden. The bar stocks a fabulous selection of ales, traditional cider, a wide choice of Belgian beers, a fine wine selection and a large batch of gins, there is literally something for everyone. The Trooper also hosts live music every Thursday as well as a quiz night on the last Wednesday of each month. You’ll be hard-pushed to find a better atmosphere in Windsor.
Please note the Pub opens daily from 11am, therefore we do not offer breakfast.

All rooms at the Trooper have private entrances, theyhave ensuite shower rooms with toiletries, teacoffee making facilities and TV. The 2 bedroom apartment is ideal for a Family with young children, due to its layout the apartment is not recommended for 4 adults.

There are many cafes near by that will provide Breakfast and reasonably priced paid parking can be found nearby, we do not have storage for bicycles.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.

The Windsor Trooper reopened in early September 2019 under New Management.

All bookings are based on room rate only.

Please note there is no parking available on site, Guests can find several car parks nearby.

Twin Room with Shower. The Double or Twin Rooms are located on the First and Second Floors. The room features a TV, Dressing table, Cupboard, Kettle and En suite Shower Room, this can beup as a Double or Twin room Please specify your bed preference when booking. ;
Quadruple Room with Shower. This room is located on the ground floor adjacent to the Beer Garden. The Room features, a flat-screen TV, teacoffee making facilities and an En-suite Shower room. The room accommodates either 4 adults, 3 Adults or 2 adults and 2 children. The room can beup with either a double and a single bed or a Double Bed, Single Bed and Pull Out Futon Mattress. Please specify your bed preference when booking. ;
One-Bedroom Family Apartment. The Two Bed Apartment is on the First floor and is ideal for a Family with young Children. You enter the apartmentthe Kitchen, off the Kitchen is the Master Double Bedroom. Access to the Smaller Second Bedroom is through the Jack and Jill style En-suite Shower Room. Kitchen Features a Fridge, Microwave, ToasterCutlery, Crockery, glasses as well as a dining table and 4 chairs. Master Bedroom features a Double Bed, Bedside Tables, Dressing Table, Chest of Drawers and a TV. Second Bedroom features a Daybed with pull out futon mattress if required, a Bedside Table and a TV. ;
Double Room with Private Bathroom. The Small Double Rooms are located on the First and Second Floors above the Pub. The room has a TV, Dressing table, Hanging Space, Kettle and En-suite Shower Room. Please note the two Small Double rooms are above the Courtyard of the Pub so Noise may be heard until midnight. This room can only beup as a Double ;
Triple Room with Shower. The Triple Room is on the First floor and features, a flat-screen TV, teacoffee making facilities and an En-suite Shower room. The room accommodates either 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child or 1 adult and 2 Children. The room can beup with either a double and a single bed or three single beds. Please specify your bed preference when booking. ;
Twin Room with Shower. These Double or Twin Rooms are located on the Ground Floor adjacent to the Beer Garden. The room has a TV, Dressing table, Cupboard, Kettle and En-suite Shower Room, this can beup as a Double or Twin room. Please specify your bed preference when booking.
